Others have carried the mantle of Captain Marvel, yet Monica Rambeau was the first woman to do it. Monica may appear in the upcoming Captain Marvel movie without powers. Here's hoping in the future that she will appear with powers with one of her other codenames Photon, Pulsar or Spectrum.
